During my 30 day shopping hiatus, I realized I never wore any jeans. Any time I'd reached for a pair, I found a reason NOT to wear them; too tight, too long, didn't like the color, they made me look short and the list goes on. After "researching" the perfect pair of denim, I decided on an ultra skinny dark wash from AG Adriano Goldschmied. Petite curvy women looked great in these jeans and I realized they looked went with most pieces in my wardrobe.
If you're in the market for denim, make the investment in a good pair. You won't buy another pair for a while. Also, figure out what looks best on your body. If a celebrity has a similar body, google "famous person name + jeans". You'll find tons of photos and most likely someone will mention what the celebrity is wearing. Then go try on those jeans!
Also, I wanted to share my recent visit to the breathtaking Carlton Hotel. The team from Caravan Stylist Studio invited me to have a beauty makeover. My visit was nothing short of fabulous. Valerie and her team gave me a glamours makeover using Kryolan makeup and SexyHair products. My next lipstick purchase will be the Lip Stain in Salsa. Being a busy corporate woman, long lasting lip color is imperative, regardless of how many lattes I drink and meetings I attend. This lip stain held up against the test.
