Hope everyone had a good weekend!
The past few days, we've had the most beautiful weather in Manhattan, which makes transitioning to fall a little easier. Unlike last year, I'm adding a few pieces to my fall wardrobe before winter gets here! When building your seasonal wardrobe, you don't have to spend your whole paycheck. A few things to think about before making purchases; take inventory of what your currently own {so you don't purchase duplicates} and what you currently wear {if you're not going to wear it, sell or donate}. After you've taken a look at what you own, make a list. Write down what you want to purchase. It can be as simple as, skinny jeans, grey coat, ankle boots, etc. When you find yourself at the store, reference the list and purchase accordingly.
In today's post, I'm wearing four key pieces to my fall wardrobe; dark denim, nude heels, classic tote and layering blouse. For my style, these are key to my wardrobe. I've worn these denim jeans almost every day {see my Instagram}. The dark wash goes with so many pieces in my closet. I picked them up during a sale at Lord & Taylor. If you love designer jeans, but not the price tag. I'd recommend finding a pair you love, figuring our your size and purchasing them on Poshmark or another online consignment shop. Denim doesn't have a high resell value, so it's a great item to find online. Brand new or lightly worn.
