Giveaway for my Readers :: Michael Kors iPhone Case

Hi everyone! This weekend I'm hosting a giveaway for my wonderful readers. While I was out and about a few weeks ago, I picked up this super cute iPhone case. I'm such a sucker for picking up little things while I'm waiting in line or roaming around the store. Didn't someone say, "life is about the small things"? Nonetheless, I thought my readers would like this chic case for their iPhones.

The giveaway starts today this morning and ends on Wednesday at 7pm EST. I added a few more options for the giveaway. Let me know what you think about the added options. I like using this Rafflecopter because it keeps everything organized and I can pick a winner within seconds!

This sweater I picked up from Zara a few weeks ago and I've already worn it a few times. This fall, be sure to pick up a few sweaters that can be worn with boyfriend jeans, slacks and a standard pencil skirt. It makes for a comfy and warm day at the office!

Trend this Season :: How to wear a Baseball Hat this Fall

This week has begun! Morning everyone. This weekend I spent time with my family in Kansas City, Missouri. When I'm back home, I spend most of my time running around seeing my favorite people in the world.  I always find time to do some shopping, they always have great sales! This weekend I found my new "fall" bag. Can't wait to show you photos.

Today's post was inspired by one of my favorite accessories. The baseball hat. I've been getting away with this trend for years. I've always owned some type of hat. For years it was a STL Cardinals hat, then a Chief's hat, then a leather hat and now it's this beautiful J. Crew hat. I got this hat in navy and it seems to go with everything. It doesn't look as "tough" as my leather hat and doesn't look as sporty as my sports hats. The best advise I can give when wearing a baseball hat is to keep it simple. I think a white top and jeans are a great look. Then put on your favorite pump and you look like Sporty Spice! What do you think about the baseball hat trend? Do you like or love?

Place you could wear this outfit :: happy hour, brunch date, strolling around the city on a Sunday.

Perfect "Date Night" Dress :: Zara dress & Zara heels

Hello everyone! So happy it's Friday. Tomorrow we celebrate the birthday of my niece! She's turning 7 and she's the apple of my eye (is that how you say that saying, I'm notorious for saying them wrong). I think she's going to like the Barbie house we got her...it has an elevator! Talk about upgrading Barbie ;)

Today's outfit was what I wore on our last date in San Francisco. I love this dress. I think if there were one dress in my closet that spoke for my overall style, this dress would be that dress. It's simple; black and white. I love the cut of the dress. The long sleeves, but showing legs. It shows my curves in a flattering way. The dress is from Zara and is made really well. The fabric is nice and thick. The last reason, probably my favorite. It was on sale! $39 for this dress!

Looking forward to transitioning this piece into the fall and winter. It can be work with tights and also boots & booties! I'll be sure to wear it a few more times and you can see the different styles.

Place you could wear this outfit :: date night, going out,  social networking event, meeting the girls for dinner, friend's birthday party.

After picture!

Blonde! The top is still dark and the bottom is light. Turned out great! Love it.

Yesterday this happened! For those who know me, know this was a huge change. The last time I put any noticeable color in my hair was in high school...as a Freshman. My best friend Sara recently decided to go to school to be a beautician. She's always been an expert in the hair and makeup department. It's only been a few months and she's already really skilled. I took the picture of Eva Mendez into her and told her I wanted something similar, but nothing at the roots. We stuck with the ombre hair, but very subtle.

If you're in Kansas City, she's in your neighborhood!

Street Style :: Zara Leather pants & Kurt Geiger heels

Hi everyone! I'm writing you flying over Pennsylvania. For the rest of the week I'm heading back to my hometown, Kansas City, to spend time with my family.  My beautiful niece turns 7 years old tomorrow and I never miss a birthday party...so I'm heading back.

Today's outfit post is a mix of a few trends for fall. The "camo" colors and leather leggings. Last year I picked up both the top and leggings from two of my favorite stores, Banana Republic and Zara. I've worn this outfit a few times. It's great to wear out for a late dinner at a trendy restaurant or heading to a friend's house for cocktails with the girls. When I'm not wearing pencil skirt and oxford shirts to the office, I take a 180 and throw on some leather and strappy heels. The heels were a purchase from Kurt Geiger in SF.  The heels were purchased the day before I moved to NY. I consider them my parting gift with beloved San Francisco.

Hope you like the photos. They were shot by a new friend, Akil at ClearShadow Photography. He takes amazing photos. We took these photos with a friend of mine, she's the model. Then I jumped in and took some candid blogger shots.  We had a great time. Good learning experience for me.
