For months I've been searching for the perfect feather skirt. I finally came across this beautiful Sam Edelman Feather Skirt. I love the length of the skirt. Most feathers skirts are too short for my liking. However, the feathers on this skirt are long and cover up more of my leg. If you're on the lookout for a feather skirt, this is the skirt for you!

How to Wear Snakeskin to Work

Morning everyone! I'm heading up to Connecticut for the day for a business meeting. Love walking into Grand Central to start my day. For today's blog post I'm wearing one of my favorite prints, snakeskin! I wish I had more pieces in my closet. Snakeskin is a great way to mix up the daily grind of a black, white and grey at the office. A few things I'd recommend when wearing snakeskin to the office, pair it with neutral colors or go for all black. Typically my snakeskin blouse is worn with black trousers and black pumps. A nice pair of snakeskin pumps would also be a great piece to add to your closet. A few years ago I purchased a pair of Rachel Roy nude snakeskin pumps and they were a staple for my daily office outfit.

Here are a few more pieces that you might like to add to your office wardrobe; LOFT blouse, Macy's blouse, Joie blouse, Simply Vera pumps, Coach pumps, Giambattista pumps

Hello everyone! So excited to share today's photos. As most of you know, I'm all about accessories!  Vests, hats and statement necklaces are my favorite. For the longest time I was nervous about wearing hats and vests, thinking it was "too much". I'm not sure if it comes with age or living in New York, but I've really come to embrace this side of my style.

I wore this outfit Saturday afternoon while shopping downtown. Since the weather is cooling off, I threw on this Zara vest and comfy boots and headed out the door. There is something so elegant about fur. Faux fur or real fur. The quality of faux fur is amazing nowadays, so don't be nervous about picking one up the next time you go shopping. You'll be surprised how much you love it! Yesterday I posted five of my favorite faux fur vests under $100. If you love real fur, I'd recommend going to a local thrift store. They always seem to have beautiful fur coats and vests from the 1950s and 1960s.

Place you could wear this outfit :: I really think you could wear this outfit always anywhere...except the office. This would be great to wear to weekend brunch, shopping with friends, girl's get together, any type of family event. You're able to take off the vest and put the belt around the cotton dress.

Blue Stripes :: Zara Midi & Cinnabar

Hi everyone! So excited to post today's outfit. Yesterday Matt and I went to the Garment District and then headed to the Chelsea area to explore. The Garment District is great place for someone who loves crafts and sewing. There was inspiration all over the place! Our first stop was Bead World and got so many great ideas for statement necklaces and bracelets.  This winter when I'm stuck inside, I'll be spending a lot of time with my list of DIY projects.

After the Garment Districts we headed to Chelsea Pier. There was so much going on in the area.  We stumbled up Chelsea Market and had a great time exploring. I also found a great sample sale. I spent 10 minutes in the sample sale and picked up two work dresses and a plaid coat. I've learned to be an efficient shopper when I'm with Matt.  After the Market we went to the High Line. The High Line Park is a 1-mile park built on a former elevated New York Central Railroad. It's such a beautiful green getaway in the middle of Manhattan.

In the mist of all of the exploring, we found a pier door that matches with my Zara midi. I loved wearing my Coach boots with the Zara skirt. The graphic tee made the outfit casual and perfect for strolling around New York City.

Trend this Season :: How to wear a Baseball Hat this Fall

This week has begun! Morning everyone. This weekend I spent time with my family in Kansas City, Missouri. When I'm back home, I spend most of my time running around seeing my favorite people in the world.  I always find time to do some shopping, they always have great sales! This weekend I found my new "fall" bag. Can't wait to show you photos.

Today's post was inspired by one of my favorite accessories. The baseball hat. I've been getting away with this trend for years. I've always owned some type of hat. For years it was a STL Cardinals hat, then a Chief's hat, then a leather hat and now it's this beautiful J. Crew hat. I got this hat in navy and it seems to go with everything. It doesn't look as "tough" as my leather hat and doesn't look as sporty as my sports hats. The best advise I can give when wearing a baseball hat is to keep it simple. I think a white top and jeans are a great look. Then put on your favorite pump and you look like Sporty Spice! What do you think about the baseball hat trend? Do you like or love?

Place you could wear this outfit :: happy hour, brunch date, strolling around the city on a Sunday.

Fall into Leopard :: Forever 21 top & Zara skirt

Good morning! Fall has officially arrived. This morning there was a strong breeze while I was walking to work. Although fall has arrived, you don't have to cut skirts out of your wardrobe. The midi skirt is a great alternative to the summer skirt. This midi I picked up from Zara a few weeks ago. This is an easy alternative to pants and a pencil skirt. This skirt can be worn with a lot of different tops. I think a floral top would look awesome with the accordion midi skirt.

Place you could wear this outfit :: office, work party, social networking event, coffee date, meeting the girls for dinner.
